PRACTICE PRESENT
Comparison is the thief of joy they say. There are a few things I do to try to remain present to rid myself of these negative practices. We all have our days and do it at times, jealous and envy are natural feelings but staying present is the best way to ground yourself and begin choosing you. Meditation and reading are wonderful practices for mindfulness, meditation practicing breath work and clearing the mind offers stillness, something we all need when everything around us continues moving. Reading has been such a release for myself and offers me new things to learn and incorporate in my day to day life. Exercise, whether it's walking, yoga, strength training or cardio, offering your body an opportunity to utilize its purpose which is to MOVE and tap in with your sacral chakra. (Don't forget to dance sometimes!)
